About NZFM
NZFM is a Māori-owned, independent forest management company overseeing approximately 80,000 hectares of plantation forestry across the North Island. The Role
Tupu Angitu seeks to appoint a new Director to the NZFM Board to provide strategic oversight and governance leadership. This role will work alongside fellow Directors and both shareholder entities (Tupu Angitu and Lake Rotoaira Forest Trust) to help guide the organisation through a period of significant change and growth, embedding Te Ao Māori into its values, culture, and client relationships.

• Te Ao Māori: Proven ability to integrate Māori values in business; fluency in te reo and tikanga desirable.
• Marketing & Sales: Strategic growth and market development, ideally in forestry, agriculture, or export markets.
Prior governance experience or senior executive leadership within forestry, primary industry, or rural enterprises is advantageous.
